On May 27, 2025, the Office of Field Activities (OFA) Diliman released its second video series entitled AFAano: A Guide to Local and International Academic Field Activities (AFAs). The six-part video series tackles the respective documentary requirements and stakeholders involved in processing each type of AFA. These include off-campus, on-campus, NSTP, special, local internship, and international AFAs.
Similar to the office’s first video series, the latest one was also produced by e-learning development startup Buri Technologies Inc. Given the recent developments in our local and international AFA guidelines (see Memo No. OVCAA-MVLO-OFA 24-005 and Memo No. OVCAA-MVLO-OFA 24-003), a second iteration of the office’s instructional videos was necessary to duly inform the University’s faculty, staff, and students in an engaging, digestible way.
Developed in late 2024, the series’ script was a collaborative effort between OFA Diliman’s then-director Asst. Prof. Arlyn P. Macapinlac, Senior Project Assistant for Training and Education Carlos Gacutan, Senior Project Assistant for Project Management Dorothy Forneloza, Senior Research Associate Stef Aranas, and then-support staff member Samantha Delis. Quality assurance on the final videos was also collaboratively done by the staff alongside OFA’s current director, Asst. Prof. Christian R. Orozco.
In producing this video series, OFA Diliman continues to uphold its commitment to serving UP Diliman and its constituent units by thoroughly disseminating information on the respective processes and documentary requirements necessary when planning and executing experiential learning within and beyond the University grounds.
