The Office of Field Activities (OFA) Diliman extended a warm welcome to the new freshmen of UP Diliman during the Freshie Orientation Fair (FOF) 2024, held from September 17-20, 2024 at the Student Union Building Complex, University of the Philippines Diliman. The annual event and four-day orientation aimed to familiarize the incoming freshmen students with the different offices and academic services within the University.

As part of the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs (OVCAA), OFA Diliman joined forces with other OVCAA units and UP Diliman offices to engage and connect with the new Iskos and Iskas through interactive booths.

UP Diliman freshies enthusiastically showcased their competitive spirit by participating in the OFA Diliman Trivia Game. The activity tested students’ knowledge on a range of topics, including general facts, current events, and key information about OFA Diliman—its history, the definition and significance of Academic Field Activities (AFAs), and the Office’s vital role in promoting and elevating experiential learning in the University. Participants who answered correctly were rewarded with OFA Diliman stickers and ballpens. OFA Diliman brochures and their corresponding digital copies (in QR code) were also given to those who visited the booth.

The four-day event underscored the importance of collaboration between UP Diliman communities through the vibrant atmosphere of camaraderie and learning. The FOF also provided a platform for freshmen students to connect with peers, faculty, and administrative staff for a fruitful academic journey at the University.
